What our clients are saying:

💜 Andrew Abrahamse, Director – Stepp Trinity Financial Advisors (Pty)Ltd

Collaborative Art Creations are excellent! A bold opening statement to make, I know. But they really are. I have purchased 3 fantastic pieces from them so far and have been absolutely delighted with the outcomes. The one piece hangs proudly in the entrance of my home, another hangs above my bed, and the third piece hangs on my wall at my office, with pride of place behind my desk.

The buying process, was simple, efficient, with no fuss at all. The quality of the work put out by Laresa and Verna is simply outstanding. It would not be out of place in any gallery anywhere in the world, in my humble opinion. I was drawn to my first piece, by Verna, when I saw it hanging on the wall. She asked me what I saw in the piece, and when I gave her my interpretation, she confirmed that it was exactly what she had been thinking when she worked on it. It quite literally spoke to me. My second piece was a butterfly design by Laresa, which did the same thing for me – it captivated me the second I saw it and I just had to have it. Simple, beautiful, transformative – just like the butterfly. My third piece was a collaboration between Laresa and Verna. My favorite poem on canvas. This is a one-of-a-kind piece, and it lifts my spirits whenever I walk into my office, where it hangs.

I have always been inspired by art, and having Laresa’s and Verna’s work hanging in my home and office is inspiring and uplifting. It adds to the energy we have created in our workspace as well as making it a talking piece for all of our clients. Truly inspirational!

Thank you, Laresa and Verna, and here’s to many more collaborations! Warmest regards, Andrew

I have admired Laresa’s creations for many years and always dreamed of owning one of her pieces. For the longest time, I enjoyed her work in a unique way—using her stunning photographic images of flowers and insects to create puzzles on my iPad. It was a playful and personal connection to her art that brought me joy and relaxation.

Then, during a visit to the Collaborative Art Creations studio, everything changed. I spotted a large Perspex print from her Simplicity Series titled Finding the Flow. I can’t quite put it into words, but the moment I saw it, I felt an undeniable pull. It was as though the piece spoke directly to me. I knew I had to bring it home.

Now, Finding the Flow graces the wall of our main bedroom, and every time I look at it, I feel a sense of calm wash over me. It gently reminds me to breathe, to be present, and to embrace the stillness within. This piece has transformed our space, adding a light, positive energy that brings the beauty of nature indoors.

I’m grateful to now have one of Laresa’s artworks not only in my home but also in my office at Mount Ceder. Both serve as daily reminders to pause and reflect, grounding me in the moment.

A heartfelt thanks to the souls who dare to create—Laresa and Verna’s works are layered with meaning and inspire a deeper connection to life. Their art truly makes one stop, breathe, and feel.

I have enjoyed Laresa and Verna’s work for ages, and recently, I had the privilege of bringing two of their breathtaking pieces from the Flowers in Paint series into our home. Visiting their studio in Montagu was an unforgettable experience—a space brimming with creativity, warmth, and the unmistakable touch of nature’s inspiration.

The Flowers in Paint series is truly something special. Each artwork is a harmonious dance of colors, poured in such a way that they form mesmerizing, flowing patterns. Delicate flowers are then placed in the paint and photographed, creating a beautiful fusion of movement and stillness. Knowing that this series took months to create only deepens my appreciation for the care and intention behind it.

These pieces have completely transformed our space. They bring light, vibrancy, and a sense of calm, gently encouraging us to pause and reconnect with the beauty of the natural world. It’s incredible how art has the power to resonate so deeply with the soul, offering peace and reflection in the midst of life’s busyness.

A heartfelt thank you to Collaborative Art Creations for crafting such extraordinary works of art. They are not just decorations—they are reminders to embrace stillness, beauty, and nature every day.

Written about one of Verna’s Oil paintings that was on exhibition in Oudshoorn in 2013!

The numerous visitors of the exhibition were, without exception, fascinated by the work of the most talented South African artist in this day and time. Verna du Toit is an amiable, fun-loving and life-affirming personality who puts herself and us in front of a mirror – and in this mirror, to our horror, we can vaguely see our deepest inner conflicts. This work of Verna du Toit was also sold to a German collector and gallery-owner from Bavaria – and in this case your assumption is correct – yes – this time I was the lucky buyer. The extraordinary work has its place in the rooms of “13” now.

I have collected the more and more surreal works of Verna du Toit with great passion for a few years now. Like the other South African artists which I ardently represent and display, she is an exciting and promising insider tip – although one needs to know that Verna du Toit has sold all of her numerous works without any exception. Today you can find her works all over the world – and I don’t have to worry about her successful future

In 2019, my wife and I spent a weekend in Cape Town and visited an art gallery on Loop Street, where we encountered an exhibition of Verna du Toit’s work. We were completely blown away. Her art is of consistently high quality and employs a unique visual language of symbols that adds a rich semantic depth.

Inspired by her incredible talent, we decided to commission a piece from Verna. The theme she selected, “the way in which the human mind constructs its own reality,” resonated deeply with us.

Verna completed the commission to our utmost satisfaction and delivered a stunning artwork that now brightens up a prominent wall in our home.

“Verna du Toit, we are so proud of this artwork! Thank you so much for your wonderful work. We cherish it. And it has been a privilege to walk this journey with you.”

Before I moved to Australia, I purchased some of Laresa’s art to take a little piece of South Africa with me. What I didn’t realize at the time was just how much these pieces would come to mean. Whenever I feel homesick, I look at them, and it’s like they whisper a quiet reassurance—bringing a sense of connection and relief.

There’s something magical in the way her work captures the ethereal beauty of home. It’s both soothing and grounding, a gentle reminder of where I come from and the roots that will always anchor me, even as I build a life in a new place. Laresa’s art has become a source of comfort, joy, and belonging in my journey.

Verna’s talent absolutely astounds me; I often find myself staring at the painting, marveling at how it’s even possible to create something so extraordinary. I’m so grateful to have a piece of her creativity and vision in my home.”
