Our Artwork which is titled, ‘Change the way you look at things, and the things you look at change’ is based on a famous quotation by Dr Wayne Dyer. The first panel tells a story of a puppet resisting and pulling against its own strings which symbolises how we as humans resist our inner calling… To the puppet, it’s master is a threatening entity. In waking life, our master is often perceived as someone of something outside of ourselves. We believe, that we are controlled by our by Government, religion, our parents, society or simply that we are the victims of our circumstances. In the 2nd panel both the puppet and master are visible. It now becomes evident that we are in control of our own realities. As we transcend old beliefs, thoughts and behaviours, we find ourselves surrounded by infinite doors of solutions and opportunities. According to the teachings of ‘Abraham Hicks’, we are perfect, yet expanding Beings and we live in a perfect, yet expanding and everchanging world. Our expansion is a given, and the expansion of our time-space reality is a given. It is so much more satisfying to consciously and deliberately participate in our own expansion. It is freeing to realise that we are our own puppet master, guiding the directions of our own strings, purposefully and intentionally participating in our own unique expansion, deliberately creating our own reality. During these times, we are faced with a global pandemic. This invisible force, seems to be in charge of pulling our strings. It is important to remember that we still have a choice in how we respond. We now have the opportunity, to reflect, and to look at this situation, either from a place of love or from a place of fear. The choices we make in how we process the current circumstances, will reflect in our daily lives, our future as a human race and the future of our planet.
